Gemini

Gemini is a family of Google DeepMind language models launched in late 2023. Replaced Bard. What sets it apart from its competitors is its deep integration with the Google ecosystem: Gemini lives in search (AI Overviews), Google Docs, Gmail and Android devices.

In projects, I use Gemini primarily when I need access to the latest information through Google Search - unlike ChatGPT, where the search is done through Bing and is often less oriented on the Russian-language Internet. Gemini 1.5 Pro with a context of a million tokens is a different story: you load the entire client site and ask questions about the content without breaking it into chunks.

The main case in marketing is SEO content audit and search results analysis: Gemini sees the same Google search results that the user sees and explains why the competitor ranks higher. In the Russian context, Gemini sometimes loses to YandexGPT in tasks about the local market - there is simply less training data on Russian realities.
