Which model is the best?

There is no "best". Claude Opus 4.7 is the best for text, analytics and coding in Russian. ChatGPT 5.2 is the best for multimodality and integrations. Gemini 3 is the best for working with the Google ecosystem. YandexGPT is the best free option without VPN.

Is it worth paying for Claude or ChatGPT?

If you work with text every day, yes. Claude Pro ($20/month) pays for itself in hours saved. ChatGPT Plus ($20/month) - if you need to constantly upload files and images. For rare tasks, free versions are enough.

What Russian analogues work?

YandexGPT (Alice Pro) is the strongest Russian option; prompts work almost like with ChatGPT. GigaChat is second, noticeably weaker on complex tasks. Kandinsky - for pictures without VPN. For serious work, I still recommend Claude via the API (as on this site).
