Cold email generator

A letter for a specific company, and not a mailing based on a template. With a subject, the first two lines about the addressee and a request that can be answered in one word.

Briefly

Cold emails are not answered because of the mailing list and the first two lines, not because of the text in the middle. The tool collects a letter for a specific company: a subject without promises, a beginning about the addressee, not about you, and a request that can be answered in one word. Plus two follow-ups.

AI answers are free, but limited by the overall site limit. If the limit is reached, come back later: repeated clicks will not speed up the response.

Fill in: who are you and what do you offer?, who are you writing to?

The first two lines matter more than the rest of the text

A cold email is read in the inbox, where the sender, subject, and the beginning of the first line are visible. The decision to open or delete is made there, and the text in the middle of the letter does not exist at that moment. Therefore, rewriting the middle almost does not change the response, but changing the first two lines does.

The second most powerful thing is a request. “Let’s call for 30 minutes” requires a busy person to find half an hour and coordinate a calendar, that is, make a difficult decision in response to an email from a stranger. “Are you even doing this?” requires a one-word answer, and this is answered much more often.

The reason to write right now is the third lever. A letter for no reason is always read as a newsletter, even if it is written by hand. The reason does not have to be loud: a vacancy, a launch, a change on the site, a publication. The important thing is that it shows that you looked at them, not at the list.

What the tool intentionally doesn't do

Does not insert numbers, deadlines, benchmarks and names of companies that did not exist in your input. If the output requires a number that you did not provide, in the answer will be marked “to clarify” rather than a plausible number. This limitation is worth in the system prompt and works against the main property of language models: It’s difficult to complete what’s missing.

The request text is sent to the AI provider, and the response is returned to the browser. The site does not save these texts in the database. To limit expenses separately the number of requests and the anonymized connection identifier are taken into account. If the free limit is reached, the tool will offer to come back later.

Questions

Why is the letter so short?
Because they don’t finish reading a long one, and the decision is made in the first lines. Up to 120 words are enough to state the reason, give one piece of evidence and ask a question. Everything else makes sense in correspondence when you have already been answered.
What if I don't know anything about the company?
The tool will honestly mark “clarify” instead of fictitious personalization. This is a signal that the letter is not ready yet: without fact about the client, it turns into a mailing, and mailings to a cold database are answered in units of percent. Five minutes on the recipient’s website changes the result more than any text edit.
How many follow-ups should you send?
Two is usually enough, and everyone should add something new, and not remind them of themselves. A “upvote” email doesn’t give the recipient any new reason to respond and is more likely to irritate than to help.
