LangChain
LangChain - Python/JS framework for building agents and LLM call chains with tools.
LangChain is an open framework for developing applications based on language models. Provides ready-made abstractions for chains, agents, memory, integrations with vector databases and external APIs. Written in Python and JavaScript.
I started AI agents with LangChain - it’s convenient that most of the integrations have already been written: Pinecone, Chroma, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gmail, Slack. No need to write wrappers from scratch. For a weekend prototype, this is a great choice.
To be honest: for production projects I am increasingly moving away from LangChain towards direct API calls + my own orchestration logic. The reason is that LangChain evolves quickly, the API often breaks between versions, and abstractions sometimes hide important details of the model's behavior. LangGraph (graph version for complex agents) is more interesting, but the barrier to entry is higher. For n8n automation tasks in marketing, I often use n8n + native APIs directly.
