AI agent
The AI agent is an LLM that not only responds, but performs a chain of tasks: calls tools, accesses the API, and makes decisions step by step.
An AI agent is an LLM that has been given the tools and authority to act independently. The normal model answers the question and stops. The agent receives a goal, breaks it down into steps, calls tools (search, API, code, database), looks at the result and decides what to do next - until the task is closed.
In marketing, I use agents for a routine that used to eat up hours: an agent monitors CPL by account and writes to Telegram when the metric is gone; the agent collects brand mentions and marks sentiment; the agent generates draft creatives according to the brief. All this lives in my n8n.
The main misconception is that an agent “replaces a marketer.” No. The agent replaces repetitive operations. You leave the strategy, hypotheses and final decision to yourself - the agent executes, you think.
